Here at RS Prop Masters we are very, very proud to be the first and only people to ever create genuine screen lineage Replica Stormtrooper Armour from "A New Hope". There are many that claim to have "lineage armour" and many more that have attempted to imitate RS Prop Masters armour, but we are still the only place to visit for First Generation Replica Stormtrooper Armour.

Brian Muir, the sculptor of Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper Armour was so impressed with our faithful reproduction of his work, together with our ethos and aims, he agreed to endorse us. The only time he has ever endorsed a replica made of his work.

From the mind of George Lucas, given life by Ralph McQuarrie (Concept Artist) and made a reality by John Barry (Production Designer), John Mollo (Wardrobe Designer) Bob Walker (Graphic Artist), and Sculptors Brian Muir (armour) with Liz Moore (helmet).

Fifty sets of armour were made for the production. The sets were vacuum formed in Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). John Mollo (Academy Award for Best Costume Design, Star Wars 1977) and his team, including Jack Arnott, George Gillard, Tom Wallace, all mould makers & plasterers with Tashy Baines, plasterer and Vacuum former, were responsible for forming the initial suits before the production outsourced the remaining suits to allow them to concentrate on parts of the set. Surviving sets of armour used for "A New Hope" would later go on to be reconditioned and reused for “The Empire Strikes back”.

Unlike others who make false claims about lineage and origins, we can back our claims. Here at RS Prop Masters we are the only armour makers with Original Star Wars 'A New Hope' armour.
