Helmet

Comprises faceplate, rear apron, dome and cowl fabric.

Our desire to faithfully recreate the original helmet as closely as possible began with finding an original helmet. Researching the history and know details and matching production materials and techniques. The perfect forms and shapes of this helmet are completed with the only correct cowl material, painstaking identified and located by our team and expert prop enthusiasts.

Each helmet is weathered down to recreate the look as seen when storming Echo Base on Hoth.

Plastic gauge: 1.5mm (as per original moulding).

Armour

Comprises nearly twenty individual vacuum-formed components including:

Four Battery back pack parts, torso parts including two shoulder bells, abdominal plate , chest with shoulder bridges, codpiece, gauntlets and knee armour. Finished with the thermal detonator.

Plastic gauge: 1.5mm (as per original moulding)

Plastic options:

ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) the original material, it holds paint well and is strong and flexible. Slightly ‘off’, creamy white with subtle gloss finish.

Boots: Original Canadian Military boots, modified with straps as per screen used boots. Boots are genuine army surplus and supplied without inner boot. We recommend the use of your own inner or thick socks.

Authentication: hologram authentication stickers and Certificate of Authenticity with every purchase. Our standard Snowtrooper commission meets 501st Legion criteria in most cases, although restrictions apply to some body shapes and sizes.

Payment Plan

Our Payment Plan service allows you to spread the cost of your order over an eight week period. This is also the standard build time for your suit.

The first payment is a deposit of £500. The second payment of £400 is due four weeks after the order date. The final balance is then due eight weeks from the date of order. The balance payment will be £400.

We will send an invoice for each payment four weeks and eight weeks from the date of order. This can be paid via Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Paypal as per your preference.

About the Snowtrooper

From the minds of George Lucas with Ralph McQuarrie & Joe Johnston (Concept Artists ), the Cold Weather Assault Stormtrooper character was brought to life by John Mollo (Wardrobe Designer) and Jan Stevens (Modeler).

Thirty sets of armour were budgeted for filming. All armour parts were made in-house by the production team, with the soft parts being made by Caledonian Costumes.

Here at RS Prop Masters we are the only armour makers with an original Star Wars “The Empire Strikes Back” Snowtrooper Helmet and Battery Back Pack, which enables only us to faithfully and painstakingly recreate every detail.

Customers purchasing a Snowtrooper commission will receive hologram authentication stickers and individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
